Dec. 7th, 2004 01:48 amI'm rather afraid that my left knee is never going to be quite the same after The 15 Minute Hamlet. I've been having little troubles with it, beyond just the bruising (it sometimes feels like something's off, or that something's going to pop slightly out of place). I'm terribly glad Laertes only dies the twice (once in the 15, and once in the 5).
I would try taking the brunt of the fall with my right knee, but I'm even MORE terrified of having that knee pop out again, since it already has once. And that was not a pleasant time. So I'm going to stick with taking the fall on my left knee.

Date: 2004-12-07 08:24 am (UTC)Hope your knee's feeling better soon. I suggest Naproxin Sodium: works longer (for most folks) than Ibuprofin or Aspirin.
Maybe a small cushion (just do better at hitting it than did Rowan Atkinson during his ... never mind: I'll shut up, now) ...

Date: 2004-12-07 08:36 am (UTC)Thanks! Hm... Naproxin Sodium? I might have to try it by the end of this week. Though the long lasting meds never seem to actually WORK for me.
::snerk:: I would definitely do a cushion - but it would be too noticieable onstage. I was thinking knee pads, but they really wouldn't be worth buying at this late date. I should have bought them nearer to the beginning of this whole process. Ah well, hind sight and all that.
All I have to do is make it past Saturday, and I'll be good to go. And then my knee can recuperate.
