I might be writing articles for a website. Stumbled across it on accident, discovered they were looking for writers equally by accident, decided that hey, I have a large interest in the things they listed might as well give it a go… and wrote something up to send along

I didn’t hear back from them. I thought that it just wasn’t what they were looking for, so it wasn’t a big deal. Got home a little while ago, however, to find an email waiting for me.

Apparently he had sent me an email a few weeks back that I didn’t get. He sent me another (replied to the one that I had sent) inquiring as to whether or not I was still interested. After squeeing my fool head off internally, I shot off a quick reply letting him know that yes, YES, I’m still interested.

So… yeah. I’m kind of giddy.

Agent Francis York Morgan (just call him York) from Deadly Premonition/Red Seeds Profile. And Zach, of course. I think he'd make an awesome movie-watching buddy.

Firefox has been pissing me off. To the point where I have switched to Google Chrome as my primary web browser. I got tired of Firefox's continual freezing, unfreezing, freezing, unfreezing. Etc, etc.

My suspenders have arrived!! I much prefer calling them braces. Sounds more... I don't know. It's niftier sounding. ::laugh:: These are my starter braces. I'm planning on getting proper braces with buttons. But for now red clip braces it is. Time for a break from belts.

The things I watch for actors I like. I'm watching this one for Bruce Boxleitner.

The theme is monster cakes... and if someone does not make a Godzilla or a Cthulhu cake I will be VERY disappointed.

Started playing Dragon Age 2 last night... and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Side-questing like crazy at the moment, because I'm not allowing myself to go on the first main plot quest until after all the side-quests for this bit are done. Must. Finish. EVERYTHING. ::laugh:: The magically appearing foes in the streets are amusing... and annoying. The repeating maps are also not that fun. "Haven't I been here before?" No... not quite. But yes.

Another thing that bothers me is just how hard it is to read the text on the television. Makes me wish I'd gone for the PC version. I mean... SHEESH. Makes reading how armour and things compare to each other a bit of a pain in the ass. Part of it might be the television, of course... Might find out later.

I wish I could remember all the different choices I made in my various DA:O play-throughs. So I can upload different saves to see how it effects the DA: 2 storyline.

I've been using my tumblr for photos and movie reviews/commentaries. In an effort to post more fun things to my LJ, I may start posting the movie stuff here as well.

I think I may have to get my right knee checked out. I don't remember if I mentioned it on LJ, but during my stage managing of Cyrano de Bergerac for Prenzie, I hit my right knee very very hard on a large wooden box. At the time it hurt immediately when it happened, but eased up some after a while, though I still limped a little. So I thought it was all right... only to have major issues the next day. I was limping and if I wanted to cross my legs I had to manually move that leg. It was kind of bad. But after a few days... it went away and I didn't think much of it.

Then that knee started aching like crazy off and on. Which has made me wonder just what the hell I did to my knee. And there's a bump type thing on the knee cap where I hit it. It's bad enough that's my trick knee, with the occasionally popping out. I had to go and whack the hell out of it too.

So... there's this game for the XBox 360. And PS3 in Japan (where it's known as Red Seeds Profile, which really is a far more appropriate title). Deadly Premonition. It is the most amazing, weird, camp, fun game I think I've played in a long while. And I LOVE it. I've been suggesting it to friends. Because it is awesome. I highly recommend this game.

I think Francis York Morgan (just call him York. It's what everyone calls him) is my favourite video game character. Just because he's so quirky and weird.
