You know... I used to LOVE Sluggy Freelance. I forget how I stumbled across it, but I started way back at the beginning and just FLEW threw the comics. I still read it, and I still like it, but it's not as.... I don' know, fun, as it once was.

Agreed, although the last couple strips have actually had a pretty good dramatic punch. Still... sigh. I fell in love with the Storm Breaker Saga, but such joy is no more to be found. Pete Abrams jumped the shark with GOFOTRON and he just never got back on that bike.

I will always love Riff though; have since the "Spam Satan!" thing at the beginning.

The Halloween strips are usually pretty fun, too. I can't recall this past Halloween's strip (I might have missed whatever they did, actually), though.

It's gotten really plotty, and the jokes all seem terribly forced. And it's gotten so metaplotty that I often can't follow it. He's trying to pack too much story into the strip.
