Gold standard for Classicists is the Loeb, which has both the Greek and English. Those are expensive, though, so Lattimore's rather literal trans is quite good. If you can't get that, then the penguin one will suffice. :)
Loeb it is. :D If I'm going to get a copy of The Iliad, the gold standard for Classicists is the way to go. And I'm likely to pick up Lattimore's translation too. I'm... on a bit of a kick as of late, courtesy of Troilus and Cressida.
